Bar and Schänke

The drinks menu of Waldhotel Wiehl lists aperitifs and sparkling wine, long drinks, draught beer, open wines, spirits and alcohol-free and hot drinks. An aperitif before the meal, a freshly poured beer afterwards, a glass of wine in the evening: our bar and the cosy Schänke with its open fireplace invite you to enjoy them.

The beer comes from the Wiehl Erzquell brewery, and on draught there are Erzquell Pils, Zunft Kölsch and Bergisches Landbier. The Waldhotel menu with starters, meat and fish goes well with it. In summer you sit with your glass on the restaurant terrace, and everything about the hotel on the Pfaffenberg can be found under Restaurant Wiehl.

Good to know

Where does the beer come from?

The beer comes from the Wiehl Erzquell brewery. On tap there are Erzquell Pils, Zunft Kölsch and Bergisches Landbier, plus Hofbräu Münchner Weisse.

Are there alcohol-free aperitifs?

Yes: Hugo alcohol-free, Martini Floreale Pomegranate alcohol-free, Wild Berry Spritz, Ginger Lemon Fizz and Crodino Spritz alcohol-free are on the menu.

Which wines do you serve by the glass?

Rivaner, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Niersteiner Grauburgunder, a Spätburgunder Weißherbst (rosé), a medium-dry Spätburgunder and Merlot, each in a 0.2-litre glass. Please feel free to ask us about the special-offer wines.
