Hotel and cave
A few steps from breakfast to the cave tour
At the Waldhotel Wiehl, your hotel by the stalactite cave, you wake up at the edge of the forest, enjoy a relaxed breakfast and are standing at the entrance on the hour. No drive, no hunt for a parking space.
The hotel stands above the cave
The stalactite cave lies beneath the Waldhotel, and it belongs to the hotel. We turn that into offers: cave tours, arrangements with a cave tour, forest adventure walks from the hotel, overnight stays with hikes and autumn weeks for relaxing and walking.
Sleeping and marvelling in a single stay
Our arrangements for a short break in the Bergisches Land combine an overnight stay, a menu and a cave tour. If you only stay one night, book a double room in Wiehl and head for the first tour the next morning.
Warming up and stopping in after the tour
The restaurant is only a few steps from the cave. After the tour there is ice cream and coffee at the kiosk, and in the evening dinner at the restaurant in Wiehl.
Tickets from the cave, rooms and meals from us
Tours, times and tickets are managed by the stalactite cave website, where you reserve your place. The Waldhotel takes care of your room, your meals and your celebration.
