If you are looking for a hotel near Phantasialand, you will not find a neighbour of the park in the Waldhotel: the drive from Pfaffenberg 1 to Brühl takes about 54 minutes in free-flowing traffic, a distance of around 76 kilometres. In return you sleep peacefully at the edge of the forest and have the cave and wildlife park on your doorstep.
The park runs its own adventure hotels. If you would rather stay somewhere quiet in the countryside, the Waldhotel offers double rooms and family rooms, with a breakfast buffet and free parking at the hotel.

The stalactite cave is right next to the hotel, and it is around 8 °C down there all year round. The wildlife park next door is freely accessible, and the indoor pool and sauna await at the hotel.

The drive is worth it for families and groups who stay several days and want to combine the park visit with excursions near where they are staying. If you only plan one day in the park and want to be there at opening time in the morning, you are better off staying in Brühl.
