If you would like to stay overnight in Wiehl, you wake up with us on the Pfaffenberg between forest and wildlife park. 30 rooms are ready in three categories: 14 single rooms, 14 double rooms and 2 family rooms. A lift takes you comfortably to every room, and 7 have a balcony of their own. Whether you travel alone, as a couple or with the whole family, you will find your room here.
Double and single rooms
14 double rooms and 14 single rooms: sleep well as a couple in the double bed, or undisturbed on your own in the single bed, and if you need more space, an extra bed can be added in the double room. The rooms come in two styles: freshly modernised and classically furnished.
Family room
Space for 2 adults and 1 child, the child sleeps on the sofa bed, and an extra bed is possible.

Accessibility
Lift and step-free access make arrival easier, and individual rooms and bathrooms are barrier-free. Unfortunately, the building is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Location
Cave, wildlife park and hiking trails right outside your door
Your room is on the Pfaffenberg, with the stalactite cave and wildlife park as neighbours. After breakfast you set off on foot, to the cave, along the wildlife park circular trail of around 1.8 kilometres or on one of the waymarked hiking trails in the Homburger Ländchen, around 180 kilometres in total.
You can book guided tours and tickets for the cave on the website of the stalactite cave. How to combine a stay at the hotel by the stalactite cave with a visit is explained on a page of its own, and ideas for walks and tours are under hiking in Wiehl.
Even places further away are not far: by car you reach Schloss Homburg in Nümbrecht in around 6 minutes, Gummersbach in about 14 minutes, the Panarbora nature experience park in Waldbröl in around 22 minutes and Cologne in about 35 minutes (journey times without traffic, calculated on 14 October 2026). Back at the hotel, dinner awaits in our restaurant in Wiehl, and afterwards the sauna at the hotel does you good.
