A place in the fresh air
At the Waldhotel Wiehl you dine outdoors on the restaurant terrace. It sits in a sunny spot by the hotel, partly covered and with parasols, and looks out onto the greenery. Sit here for an aperitif or in the evening, when the forest slowly settles down.
The dishes come from the same kitchen as in the Restaurant at Pfaffenberg and in the Schänke, and you will find the drinks on our drinks menu. The hotel lies right at the stalactite cave and the wildlife park, and you reserve your table on the terrace under Reserve a table in Wiehl.
At weekends and on public holidays, the terrace is open in good weather, with coffee and small dishes.

Stop in after the cave and the wildlife park, and stay
An excursion in the Oberbergisches Land is best rounded off with dinner. Two destinations are right by the hotel: the stalactite cave, which you can learn more about under Hotel at the stalactite cave, and the Wildpark Wiehl with its forest climate trail.
After the cave
The guided tour of the stalactite cave takes about 45 minutes, and a seat in the sun feels good afterwards. The cave is right next to the hotel.
After the wildlife park
The Wildpark Wiehl is freely accessible and open all day, and the circular path is about 1.8 kilometres long. Your way back ends with us on the terrace.
