You can walk the circular trails at the Brucher Talsperre (about 3.5 kilometres) and the Lingesetalsperre (about 5 kilometres) all year round.
Day trip: Biggesee
The passenger boats on the Biggesee run from April to October; ask the operator about timetable and prices.
Walking by the water
The Bigge-Lister hiking trail makes a loop of 45.9 kilometres around both lakes. You will find shorter routes from the hotel under Hiking in Wiehl.
Back at the hotel
After the lake, the Waldhotel is waiting

From lake to fireplace
Back on the Pfaffenberg you will find the indoor pool, sauna (Hotel with sauna in Oberberg) and the restaurant in Wiehl, all in the hotel.
The reservoirs fit well into a weekend: one day at the lake, one day in the cave next to the hotel and in the wildlife park. For children a day of swimming is especially nice in summer, and you will find more ideas under Excursion with children in Oberberg.
