Accessibility statement

Only the German version is legally binding.

Draft, still to be reviewed legally. This website is in its test phase.

Our goal

The Waldhotel Tropfsteinhöhle wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA.

Status of compliance

A final accessibility review is still pending. Until it is complete, we cannot declare that the website fully meets the requirements.

What we have implemented

• A clear heading structure, a skip link to the content and operation by keyboard alone with visible focus.
• Alt texts for all images, contrasts of at least 4.5 : 1 and text that can be enlarged up to 200 percent.
• The “News” ticker and the video in the page header can be paused. With your device’s “reduce motion” setting both stay still, and the video is not played.
• Controls have a minimum size of 44 pixels; the page also works at 320 pixels width without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

The alt texts describe the content of the images. We will add further limitations here as soon as the review is complete.
